  Is Carshalton Building Services VAT Registered?

Yes we are.


  Do Carshalton Building Services do all the work themselves or do they sub contact the wok out?

Carshalton Building Services carry out all the work themselves. The only sub contractors that we use are Part P qualified electricians and Gas Safe registered plumbers. We always try to use the same contractors as we know their level of expertise and their work ethics.


  Can Carshalton Building Services provide references?

We can provide as many references as you require and can provided details on request.


  Does Carshalton Building Services have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes we do we have insurance for up to £5,000,000 and can provide a copy of the Insurance Certificate on request.


  How much will the work cost?

Prices can vary depending on the type of work you require. We are happy to do a site visit to assess the work and the more information you can provide us with the more accurate we can be in giving you a quotation.


  Are there any hidden costs?

We will give you a written quotation listing all the work to be included.  Anything that is not quoted for will be deemed as an extra.


  How do we pay for the work?

We take a 10% deposit to ensure your time slot is booked and then we issue a weekly payment schedule that relates to a work schedule.


  How long does the work take to be completed?

Depending on what type of work is required an estimated time for completion will be given before work commences.

  If you have already chosen your builder what things should you take into consideration?

  • Has the builder been recommended to you?
  • Who was the recommendation from?
  • Have you seen any completed work that the builder has done?
  • Was the job completed on time and on budget?

If he was recommended has he provided the correct certificates for the job i.e. Part P, Gas Safe, any Local Authority Sign Off Certificates and any Structural Engineers calculations?
